Audio Post Production

Audio post production refers to any work done on an audio track after the actual creation of the track has been completed. For example, a voice over artist may record a few lines for an advertisement, which would be the actual audio production. But if the client wants the voice over to sound like a chipmunk, then a sound engineer in a studio will speed up the initial recording and re-record it at the higher speed. This period of the process is referred to as post production.

Audio Post Production Alternatives

People who want to record audio without the aid of a post production studio are going to find it very difficult, especially if a particular sound bite is meant to include music, sound effects or any other elements. The problems arise from trying to accomplish too much in a single take. Trying to record a dozen different elements at once means a dozen different ways things can go wrong, too. The sound of the music may be too high, the voice over artist may cough and the sound effect may not get queued properly or may not even start. Using post production for audio enables users to record each element separately and then mix them all together at the end.

ProVoice USA is a fully featured audio production studio capable of handling each aspect of recording, from pre-production to post production.
